Dear God,

Grant me the power to navigate what’s in my control.

And resistance to the uncontrollable.

And patience in the face of uncertainty.

And the courage to speak the truth without causing harm.

And the ability to use my skills without hindering them.

Let my hands and eyes find the discipline, even if my mind is confused.

Guide me to choose the struggles over the charm of all kinds of superficial success.

And, gift me the persistence to finish what I started.
